It isn’t always about the drawing or painting, but about practice you put in. If you want to do something well than you will practice. I am fortunate enough to be retired and have many hours to practice, but many people don’t have this time.
A Passion is something you love to do deep in your soul and that is the driving force that makes the time to practice.
The materials needed to practice is a small sketch pad or journal and a pencil (with a very good eraser on it). Sketch everything that draws your interest, i.e a colorful leaf on the ground, an old tree trunk, a building, it really doesn’t matter what it is because this is practice. At some point draw it large scale and paint it…practice, practice and practice.
I will be posting some links to “How To’s” they have become very important to me because I don’t want to sit in an Art School and do something I could be doing in the comfort of my own home.
